It's February, Valentine's Day is around the corner, and our Angels have been looking forward to bring up the subject of LOVE.  As you all know, our Heavenly Helpers have been assigned to us by our Creator primarily with the mission of LOVE.  Here is our Angels' Valentine message to you: 

Dear Ones, we, the Angels, are here for your protection, guidance, spiritual and practical assistance, comfort and humour. Our LOVE for you is always present.  Open your heart to receive our help.  Ask for our assistance.  Prayer and meditation clear the communication channels and enhance the blessings of LOVE. 

We, the Angels, also see and applaud the different ways of human LOVE: Caring, patience, understanding, tolerance, tenderness, generosity, listening, teaching, the gift of time and money, and, of course, romantic LOVE.  At this moment we invite you to reflect on all these different aspects of LOVE and how you have given and received them personally.  Surprised, you may find that there is a lot of LOVE going around in your life, and you weren't even aware of it.  Open your heart to "see" and "feel" LOVE in your life in all its manifold expressions. 

For some of you it's not always easy to believe in LOVE as your birthright.  In your perceived reality you see yourself disconnected from LOVE or even fearful.  This may be caused by disappointment, disillusion or lack of self-esteem.  We ask you, dear Ones, to start believing in our LOVE, our angelic LOVE.  We Angels love you unconditionally, no matter what you do, think of yourself or how difficult matters seem around you.  Make our LOVE your reality.  FEEL it.  KNOW it. 

The first step, dear Ones, is to love yourself.  If we, the Angels, love you, why shouldn't you love yourself? Turn your self-doubt into self-acceptance, your self-acceptance into self-LOVE.   Give yourself the gift of tenderness.  As soon as you truly love and accept yourself the world around you will shift to reflect your belief.  You will attract LOVE to the same degree that you allow yourself to see yourself as a perfect child of God.  Life will be happier.  The circumstances and people in your life will become more loving.  And if the time is right, that one special person will cross your way and send you that special card (or e-mail) you've been waiting for.  After all, we Angels love the concept of romantic LOVE, and we aim our arrows with heavenly precision and a loving smile.  HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Ja, jag säger då det – man kan trilla över de mest knepiga saker här i världen. Även sittandes här på min stol, vid mitt skrivbord mitt uppe i ett diktat; skriver om en kille som har tumör i pylorus = nedre magmunnen. För att hjälpa honom gör kirurgerna en ventrikelresektion = skär bort en del av magsäcken, ad modum Billroth II = på sättet Billroth II. Och ibland när jag har tid och är nyfiken brukar jag ta reda på hur saker och ting fungerar. Vet att Billroth II innebär att man tar bort en bit av magsäcken, men inte riktigt hur. Googlar då efter en bild att visa hur det går till och förväntar mig en bild som till exempel;

Fann dessutom bredvid denna förklarande vanliga skiss två bilder på stickade inälvor!!! Jo – det är sant – någon har suttit och stickat tunntarm, lever, gallblåsa och så vidare!!! Vad säger man? Möjligtvis är det en kirurg som gillar att sticka och har här förenat sina intressen i en skön blandning!!! Mindboggingly!

Charles Darwin, biolog, författare född 12 februari 1809, död 19 april 1882 och begravd i Westminster Abbey i London. 

Charles Darwin betraktas populärt som upphovsman till idén om arternas utveckling. I själva verket var denna tanke inte ny på Darwins tid, men det var genom Darwins arbete som idén slog igenom. Charles Darwins farfar Erasmus Darwin var en av de som spekulerade om hur arter kunde utvecklas. Erasmus Darwin antog att arter "förbättrades" genom att framgångsrika hannar hade störst chans att få avkomma.
