Ja, nu har jag startat en sömnadsateljé - först skall jag ägna mig åt att sy operationsmössor. Har ju gjort det åt mig själv och min kollega B sedan en längre tid och i förra veckan fick jag en förfrågan om jag ville sy en mössa åt en kirurg som skulle sluta. "Javisst" svarade jag och gjorde mössa nedtill!

Tänker även att jag kanske kan få beställningar från andra sjukhus när en människa från ett företag stod hos oss och förevisade bandage, eller vad det var, hon sa "Vilken fin mössa, skulle du kunna sy en åt mig?" och på den vägen är det så nu har jag gjort ett visitkort att skicka med så vi får väl de vart hän det barkar!! Syr ju gärna mer avancerade saker än operationsmössor - men någonstans får man börja!

Litet ängelsnack nu från Gigi och änglarna. Denna text handlar om svårigheter, då det känns som om änglarna har lämnat och att leva med obesvarade frågor;

We are all going through hard times, and I've heard from several people among you that apparently our Angels have left us.  So many problems.  So much hardship.  So much insecurity.  I keep hearing, "I'm scared," "My money is running out,"  "I lost my job," "I'm exhausted," "I want to live a life again," and "Where is the meaning in this mess?"

Surely there is not much immediate comfort in the inconvenient awareness that each of us, in his or her way, needs to learn the lessons of patience, perseverance, trust and faith.  These are all unpopular lessons, the lessons of courage and steadfastness.  Still, please know our Angels are close by.  They are not close by in order to turn around all our problems in the flash of a moment.  They are close by to hold our hands, to steady our minds and to soothe our souls while going through testing times.

There is another, lesser-known lesson involved for all of us.  This is the lesson "to live with unanswered questions."  This lesson can cause the greatest stress of all, not knowing how it will all end... and it is beautifully set into a poem by my favorite German poet Rainer Maria Rilke (1875 - 1926).  Rainer Maria was a great believer in Angels and the following poem was certainly inspired by them.

I want to beg you, as much as I can,

To be patient toward all that is unsolved

In your heart and to try to love the questions

Themselves like locked rooms and like books

That are written in a very foreign tongue.

Do not seek answers, which cannot

Be given you because you would not

Be able to live them.

And the point is to live everything.

Live the question now.

Perhaps you will then gradually,

Without noticing it, live along

Some distant day into the answer.

I encourage you to hang in there.  Keep talking to your Angel and pour your heart out in a letter.  Pray for new beginnings.  Find gratitude for what is.
