A belated angelic 2009 to all of you!  Since the beginning of the year I have been asking my Angels "Wilhelm" and "Rosemary" for a New Year's message, but it never came through to me in a clear and consistant way.  I received flashes of inspiration when I was brushing my teeth, standing in line at the supermarket, or worse, while driving.  Finally, I told my Angels, "This is not working too well.  I really need your help.  Please guide my hand to write your message NOW.

"As I'm writing at this moment, my Angel Rosemary is holding a white parasol over my space, protecting me against negative energies.  She also refers to the year ahead as an invitation for the protection of your soul-path and an awareness of your TRUTH.  But what does Rosemary mean by this?

For most of us, 2009 is going to be a year of balance.  Rather than forging forward, let's take stock of what is.  This suggests that you take a step back and reflect on what needs to be changed or corrected.  What works and what doesn't.  Think about your SELF, your Higher Self, think about how you feel about YOURSELF.  Reflect on your dreams, your inspirations, your aspirations.  In the rush and routine of everyday life it's not always easy to find your TRUTH.  Maybe you need to let go of an obligation that is only an imagined obligation.  Maybe you need to let go of a friendship that you have outgrown.  Maybe you even need to take a step back from someone in your family.  Sometimes difficult family members are in our lives to teach us exactly this lesson: to let go of something or someone that we think we couldn't possibly let go of.  But our Angels are saying that letting go is always a growth process that leads to something new.  Often it's an emotional letting go, even if the person is physically still around (this includes all kinds of relationships, co-workers, bosses, girl/boyfriends and spouses.)

This is a year to let go of the parts of your life that are an obstacle rather than an open door.  This may include an outgrown view of how you see yourself, a wrongly perceived self-perception.  We all go through inner changes, and sometimes we are not even aware of the extent to which this takes place.  Our logical, linear thinking does not want to listen to the call for outer change to be in line with our inner soul path.  Ideally, our inner and our outer path should be in balance. If the discrepancy becomes too wide, we might fall ill, have an accident or get fired.  This wake-up call forces us to slow down and reflect.  Do some soul-searching.  This year, look for balance  and ask for the protection of your angels while you make changes.  New doors will open in time.
